Guevara Accepted Into Multiple Summer Festivals 

Congratulations to Victor Guevara for his acceptance into the Georgia Trombone Summit and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestral Training Program. This makes three summer music festivals that he will attend. 

Acosta Heading to Indiana 

Congratulations to Matthew Acosta on being accepted and awarded a scholarship to attend Indiana University's Jacob School of Music. Matthew was also accepted into Arizona State University and the University of Arkansas. 

Sante Fe Trombone Summit 

Congratulations to Victor Guevara and Daniel Rodriguez for being accepted into the Sante Fe Trombone Summit. These two talented musicians will participate in a week long training program in July with members of the Sante Fe Opera.

Pehl Receives TMEA Award 

Congratulations to senior, Matt Pehl for being named a recipient of the TMEA Collegiate Music Educator Award! This award "represents the finest and most dedicated future music educators across the state". 

Rodriguez Accepted Into the Southeast Trombone Symposium 

Freshman performance major, Daniel Rodriguez was recently accepted into the Artist Class at the Southeast Trombone Symposium. He will work with Denson Paul Pollard, Mayumi Shimizu, and Bill Thomas this summer at Columbus State University. 

Walker Receives Multiple Assistantships 

Congratulations to Jett Walker for being offered assistantships to every DMA program where he applied. Those schools are Arizona State University, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, University of Colorado at Boulder, Eastman School of Music, the University of Miami and the University of North Texas.
