Rodriguez Accepted Into the Southeast Trombone Symposium
Freshman performance major, Daniel Rodriguez was recently accepted into the Artist Class at the Southeast Trombone Symposium. He will work with Denson Paul Pollard, Mayumi Shimizu, and Bill Thomas this summer at Columbus State University.
Walker Receives Multiple Assistantships

Hill Country Jazz Bones Recognized in International Competition
Congratulations to the Hill Country Jazz Bones who have been named Honorable Mention in the 2020 International Trombone Association's Kai Winding Jazz Trombone Ensemble Competition. This makes the ensemble's second year in a row receiving the honor.
Vogel Named Edwards Performing Artist
Steven Vogel (BM ’15) has recently joined the Edwards Instrument Company artist roster. He is currently on the faculty at Texas Lutheran University and Lone Star College – University Park in addition to holding positions with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra and Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass.
